Alex Porter

Porter is the founder and principal of investment advisory firm, Porter Orlin LLC, and also the founder and director of Distribution Technology Inc. In addition, Porter is a general partner of the Caroline Company, a venture capital firm. Porter has been a board of trustee member at Davidson College since 1992 and serves on the board of Queens University of Charlotte. He also serves on the boards of the Student Loan Marketing Association, the John Simon Guggenheim Memorial Foundation and The Library of America.
